SHF Campaign Results & Plans Ahead

In early June 2012, we kicked off the Share-HOPA-Forward campaign to celebrate Uncle Clay's House of Pure Aloha's first birthday.  Over the next two months, people enthusiastically made contributions through our IndieGoGo campaign page and in-store at the House.  They expressed their Pure Aloha in heartfelt notes they wrote on their personalized shave ice notecards.    

By the end, 72 Sharers donated a total of 584 shave ice, or $1,752!  In addition, HOPA donated 194 shave ice for every shave ice that was sold during our June 9th celebration.  Collectively, through the heartfelt giving from many, we now have an initial fund  of 778 shave ice to launch this innovative shave ice pay-it-forward experiment in Hawaii.   

We are currently preparing to host our first "Sharing Day" hopefully sometime in October.  We can't wait and will be sharing all the updates right here on this blog - so stay tuned!  HOPA!

This blog will serve as the communication hub for Share-HOPA-Forward.  Through this hub, our hope is to share; to share the exciting updates, the promising plans, and the inspiring reflections as this unique pay-it-forward experiment unfolds.

This blog will be run by the SHF Team and include original content from the Team as well as relevant contributions from special guests and the general community.
